California quilt pattern is designed by Natalie Barnes to coordinate with her new fabric line, Winding Road, by Windham Fabric. Fabric is available for purchase now, will ship March 2026. California is detailed block, but with simple piecing. The color placement makes a wonderful medallion effect in this 70 x 70 quilt. And the secondary pattern reminds us of the beautiful California Catalina Tiles found in many Pasadena homes.
