Julia Khimich

Julia Khimich is a surface designer, illustrator, and freelance artist based in Lviv, Ukraine. She draws her inspiration from the wonders of nature, colorful children’s books, magical fairy tales, and poetry. She focuses on beauty despite the trials of war. Julia says, “I love my job! It allows me to share my vision of the world. Art gives things meaning and breathes soul into them. I’m so happy to be a part of this creative process. I believe that happiness is in everyday moments. I believe that sincere and deep thought can be expressed in a few words. An illustration can convey exactly THAT feeling in a few clean and precise lines. I remember the pictures from my childhood, from my grandmother’s house. Cute postcards, paintings on the walls, my little plate with a cute bunny…. these things bind me to my happy moments. I really want my designs to give people that childlike feeling of comfort, happiness, and connection with their sweet home.”
