Shayla Wolf is a true creative professional, fueled by caffeine and a passion for design, nestled in the heart of Washington state. After studying Architecture at university, she worked in multiple areas of the quilting industry including retail, pattern design and publishing, before launching Sassafras Lane Designs with her mom, Kristy Wolf. Together they craft a vivid and enchanting array of quilt and bag patterns that captivate and inspire sewing enthusiasts.

Shayla's work, a fusion of color, texture, and geometry, ignites her creative soul and has led her to fabric design. Shayla's constant motivation for design is her love of the collaborations created with each sewist who incorporates her fabrics into a quilt or project they love. With several years of experience and a growing portfolio of fabric lines, Shayla remains committed to crafting vibrant and inclusive designs that resonate with makers of all backgrounds.
